The Auto Era

The Auto Era radio talk show, Hosted by Bernie Golias, focuses on, but is not limited to, the history of Cleveland and Northern Ohio’s automotive roots.

Mail Attachment01_Page_1There were nearly 80 automobiles built in the city of Cleveland and 115 in Northeastern Ohio e.g. Winton, Templar, Stearns, Peerless, Jordan, Baker Electric, White and many others, as well as hundreds of parts and accessory manufacture’s that thrived during the hey-day of early automobiledom. We’ll converse with historians that will give us an insight into the industrialists that inspired the development of the automobile and the industry that followed.

This show helps to expose the accomplishments of what Cleveland and local communities had to offer during the birth of the automotive industry. We’ll also discuss the significance and accomplishments that the early automobile pioneers developed that we now take for granted.
